Input shaft grease
Yeah, I went to autozone and they didnt have moly grease as the workshop manual suggested. I bought this stuff (http://www.lucasoil.com/produc...=show). Says on the package its good up to 540 degrees and its for high speed bearings. I figure this is more than enough. No?
Well, another small question as well. I'm using the flywheel bolts off my d15b2, and a got a extra one (for the one i lost) from a guy on here. Its like 5 mm longer than the rest, would that be ok to use?
Yeah, the ZC I'm putting it on came with a torque converter, but i ditched those bolts. The ones I'm using are from a d15b2, and I guess the one I got is from an Si or something.
u mean tq plate right.my zc also come with one.at least u know u got a automatic motor which could have been beaten on.well being from si i dont think it would matter?just make sure there the same length.dontforget to put some red locktight on it i used blue my first time.and when i went to chamge a blowen tranny i notice they were lose.i mean finger lose.
Thats the thing. The NEW one I bought that I DIDNT have from my engine that came out of my car (d15) is like 3 or 4 mm longer. Not all that much, its just the area before the threads start and the head is a bit longer. I dont think it'll matter.
