Default A real techie questions about Speed limiters??

I currently have a JDM p13 Lude Ecu and I hate the damn speed limiter. Now I would love to get an Apexi V-Afc for its tunability options however the Field is the only unit I know of that can get rid of the Speed limiter aside from a true standalone. Does anyone have any idea of how I can trick the Ecu by using the Field's method into disabeling the limiter???

Any help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated...

I am also interested in how I can remove the speed limiter on my accord. Hitting it twice a lap at VIR sucked, and I imagine that Robeling will be even worse.

Hondata!

A cheaper alternative would be a custom chip that has been "burned" to remove the speed limiter. However, chips are getting more obsolete day by day... Another option I saw, was a little plug in unit that removes the speed limiter and only does that, BUT it was not for Hondas... I believe it was for nissan 300ZX's or Mazda RX-7's... i forget.

By the way... in my car, I experience more of a fuel cut-off than a speed limiter. It will accelerate HARD up to 100mph, then all of a sudden the acceleration slows a bit... up to 115 mph, it slows DRASTICALLY... then next thing I know (cuz at these speed I need to concentrate on the road) I am at 140mph and climbing... mind you, this is with an Integra LS Automatic. I doubt it was ever meant to go at speeds this high. BUT I am betting its just a fuel cut-off and not a speed limiter... I would assume that by tweaking the fuel, that we can remove this speed limiter... but I may be wrong.
