I tried to search if there was anything in the archives and couldnt find anything except to use the same type of lug nuts that Honda has on the car from the factory. I have a set of 00si's on my 6th gen and am just using the stock ones for now, but i dont really want to get them stolen, and from researching it is not wise to use "tuner style" lug nuts, so i was wondering what everyone has on they're stock rims, or if you just use Honda factory ones with the locks on thems. BTW, if this is in the wrong forum i am sorry as is the first thread ive started here.

 

just get some honda wheel locks from the dealer

 

i just have these that i picked up from autozone...
nothing great, but they work and dont look like tuner locks.

ive seen OEM ones on ebay go for $20

 

i may just get OEM ones, but i really was just wondering if there were any anodized ones out there from a reliable co. that i could get that would work

no matter what kind of lock you have, if someone really wants your wheels...they will take them. i can get the OE ones off in 1 minute each. tuner ones are even easier because there are a limited number of keys. so for a shop, we have the keys and the tools to remove the locks. ive come to realize that most theives either know someone with the tools and keys or work at a place that has access to them. one of the guys that was jacking a bunch of hondas worked as the parts counter guy and would go collect vins and just make keys from the honda key book.... bastard.
