Default Honda's answer to the new R6?

Anyone have any ideas as to what Honda is cooking up? I know they have something up their sleeves. Any news, rumors, etc..?

They're out of sequence. The all new 600RR will probably come out in 07 or something, since 05 was a significant update. I doubt Honda would spend the money to respond to the R6 any earlier than they had originally planned.

I'm sure it'll be good, but it won't be this year.

It would be scary if this bike actually beat Suzuki and Yamaha instead of just catching up.

It'll be fun waiting and speculating. I won't be in the market for one until spring next year anywho.

It's going to have to have a slipper clutch and be comparable in weight and power to the new bikes. imo

doesnt honda typically run in a 4 year rotation with bike re-designs? but then again, i dont plan on buying a new bike anytime soon, so it doesnt really effect me at all.

Yeah Honda was out late with the introduction of the 600RR, but it was worth the wait.

Yes. 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006.

For 2007 we will see something new. I just hope it looks as good as the 600RR...which I think may be the best-looking 600CC bike ever.

Uh Oh Ross, careful what you say. I think there's only a small group of us out there that think the RR is the best looking.
