okay so back in april i told you guys about someone stealing my car and running it into the ground!

it was stock (i like it that way) and they took . . . well nothing, i had nothing in it, but the darn radio . .

anyway it was stolen on st. patricks day, it took the insurance co 3 months to fix, and they still did not replace my tires the thiefs burnt out . .

anyway i got a letter in the mail in june that they caught these buncha guys that were running a chop shop . . and my car was on a list of cars to be stolen, not a 2000 civic . . MY CAR!!!

anyway it was like 4 guys and they are being tried finally in a week, and i was asked to appear in court IF i want to press charges

uhh . . hell yah . . .

so i have to provide ALL the paper work from my ins co (and happily done) . . for any restitution for any out of pocket costs involved . .

december 9th i get one back for the Honda community and i told the district attorny "i wish to press charges to the full extent of the law"

and happily done! i dont have to speak in court, just be present, i already gave a statement, and the judge will decide if i get any $s back i spent putting it back together!

SO!! i know at time it seems that we never get one back from the jealous jerks that take a ride in our hard work, but i will hold my head high and make sure that whom ever took my car will spend the rest of his days making plates for everyone else . . and maybe get a 00.20 check for the rest of my life!

im happy for you man, kinda reminds me when my cousins car got stolen the guy who took it got pulled over and arrested and the police gave us thier names and we posted it on all the forums the guys were from the 209 area

heh, it was YOUR car on the list to be stolen? how did they name it? like tag # or what?
if it was stock, wouldnt it be hard for them to ID from other 00 civics?

i was told they had my plate # . . they did not tell me how they picked it, but the majority of the cars they stole were civics (20 somehting cars i think it said) , they were gonna piece them out and sell them to various shops and junkyards

i will get all details in the courtroom

yah it was a stink op the popo had going and these guys got nailed? my car and i think a few others connected all the activity?

but yah "fists" can be a verb too in prison . .
