I need something with better gas mileage than my WRX so I couldn't pass up the deal on this...

02 Civic EX w/ HFP Package 14k Miles

Can't wait to take delivery so I can start on the mods. All opinons are welcome, the good and bad!

I would say if money for gas was a factor, money for a new car and the insurance would be a factor too

I weighted my options with the new Si's. I can't get my employee discount with them yet, they are a little more expensive than what I wanted to pay. I get better gas mileage, insurance, and more money to play with on this car. Also, I got this car about 7g's less than what you can touch a Si out the door on. Also my warranty on this is 7yr 100k miles and this car only has 14k miles..

That's a great looking car. Now all you need is a DC5-R swap and some suspension work and you'll be set.

For the reason that you bought the car

I would still rather have the faster WRX though

Don't worry, this car will see a k swap but it won't be anytime soon. I had my fun with power now I'm going to enjoy the gas mileage, insurance discount, and a few tasteful mods. Its way down the road but I got plans on a k swap w/ boost.

Especially compared to a Civic? Since when do Civics get sub-par mileage? Anyway, WRXs get around 20mpg. I'll bet that Civic will get 35mpg combined cycle.

Contradiction in terms, isn't it?

DC5R wheels dumped on some Teins would be HOT.

car is no doubt hot, i love the look

but if you got it for around 15k-20k, i'd personally go for a used s2000.

what are your immediate plans for the car? make sure to dump it a bit
