okay guys ..here's my problem...about monday morning im on my way to my brothers house on the road and all of a sudden my car just jerks around and shuts off right in the middle of the road....i pop my hood and realize that my distributor was hanging off...so im like wtf!!...so i get it towed to my borthers house which is like 5 miles away and we just simply bolted up and pluged the distributor back together...so now the car is running back to normal and everything is good.....but i realize that the car since i bolted the dizzy back up...it runs a liittle sluggish when im trying to get out of gears and everyhting...i let my brother drive the car and he didnt see a problem with it...but i can tell its not the same....b/c it has trouble picking up speed fast throughout 1st and 2nd gear...my question is....could my timimg be off...any help would be appreciated.

thanx thats what i thought it was

 

change your plug wires if its not timing

 

its probably ur timing. u should advance the timing on ur dizzy
