Looking for spark in spark plug wire...

If I take the plug wires off the spark plugs and try to turn the motor over I should see spark inside the plug wires correct?

If I see no spark it means the ignitor switch is bad?

Is this safe to do? Car wise like do I need to pull any fuses to sfaely do this?

They make a test plug for just this test, I would get one of those.
