T-body advice for newbie
Hey, All.
I'm an old fart that has owned 5 hondas over the years, but this is the first worth tuning. I've had it for a while, and have put a header, full exhaust, cold air intake, adjustable fuel regulator, underdrive pulleys and urethane sway bar end links on my car. I went from 0-60 in 11.33 to 9.51 with silencer in muffler (8.93 without). And I get 34 MPG, in mixed driving. It's been fun, but now I'm looking to do the t-body.
I have a T.B. out if a 95 DelSol that's been bored to 60mm. I didn't know when I got it (I traded a case of beer for it) that the I.A.C. wouldn't fit. When I put it on, the car ran, but never idled down. I took it off and have been thinking of sending my stocker to Maxbore, but I wanted to check if there's a way to run the 60mm unit, either with or without the I.A.C. ,without making OBD II mess it's pants.
This is my "daily" driver (actually, I carpool, so downtime is not a big issue), so I don't want it all FUBAR and undrivable. I have lots of experience with american V-8 hot rodding, so I know the fundamentals, but this Bolt-on adventure has definately brought me to respect the tuners.
Thanks,
Kurt
