Default Rods and Crankshaft peak power?

I know a B18C1 can handle 300whp, but I'm wondering, are the rods what holds it back? What does the crankshaft handle and what do the rods handle?

Thanks!

Not too sure. I believe it's more of the pistons and the sleeves that are weaker. The crankshaft can handle gobs of power. Many people are making over 500whp with the stock crank. I was making near 400 with no problem.

You have an Integra now? I thought you only had your Mustang. FYI: Your bio's video links don't work.

Yeah, I need to update my Bio, its been a few years.

But no, I have an Integra again, its a 95 GSR with a Vortech on 8psi. It's just my daily driver but over christmas break, I'm taking the engine out and replacing the crank and rod bearings due to an odd wear, so I gotta measure the crank, block and all that also.

But yeah, nice to be back
I won't post pictures of the back, lets just say the new stock taillights are in the mail

I still have the Mustang, I'm dropping in a fresh engine over the winter and hopefully going to spin the turbo to 650whp.
