Default NIB OEM 90-91 Civic/CRX fogs L&R (clear) w/ switch and harness EF8/EF9

*** SOLD!!! 12/7/05 to schwanginpt for $350 ***

I have a single set of BRAND NEW IN BOX of the clear white style USDM OEM Honda optional fog lights for the 1990-1991 Honda Civic & CRX. They are still in the OEM Honda boxes with part #'s:

08V31-SH0-1M001
08V31-SH0-1M002

I am also including a used JDM EF8/EF9 foglight harness and switch with these brand new USDM foglights. The harness is complete except for the blue/red wire that passes through the firewall to connect to the foglights themselves is cut. You would need to run a single wire to each foglight in series and connect with this cut wire for power, and a single wire to ground the foglights in the engine bay somewhere.

These foglights have been discontinued from Honda for a very long time now, and they can not be ordered or purchased from any dealer in North America. Trust me, I searched a long time before I was able to get my hands on these.

The fogs were originally priced at ~$75 USD each from the dealer when they were available, so $150+ for the pair (plus the fog harness and switch sells on ebay for about $50-75 normally). Since the foglights are no longer being sold, and there are no more new sets available (except for mine, heh), I will obviously need more than that for me to let them go. I am open to reasonable offers, and I have a target price in mind that whoever matches first, gets them. I will list these on ebay in approximately 1 week if they don't sell here first.

*** SOLD!!! 12/7/05 to schwanginpt for $350 ***

here are pics, what you see is exactly what you get (WYSIWIG).

thanks for looking.

yeah, hard to put foglights on your car when they are worth more than your car is.

i have received approximately 8-10 separate offers from people via PM and posted here as well. the highest offer I have received so far is for $400 USD shipped, with several other offers close by. I'm actually kind of shocked, i was only hoping to get about $300 out of them, but with several offers above that already, I guess my standard was too low.

i will let the ad marinate here over the weekend while I'm out of town all weekend, and when I get back into town on Monday or Tuesday I'll make my decision on who will be getting them.

in the meantime, if anyone is feeling slightly crazy, you can paypal me $500 USD for the set any time and they will immediately be reserved for you and I will overnight them when I get back into town early next week.

Nobody will offer you that much. Sorry but I think you are lieing. People will just buy the JDM ones for half the price you say your are trying to get. No one has offered you $400 usd. You are full of ****. You are just trying to get people to raise there prices so that they think they have some one or some people to compete with.

Like I said $200-$300 For JDM ones, If you look around you can find them for $200, that's how much I found mine for with harness and switch.

If they came with the OEM Honda Fog covers I'd offer you $250. But since you've recieved much higher offers this post is worthless.

Pretty big words for someone who has been here all of 3 months and has 500 posts. Check my reputation. I've been on h-t since July 2002 and I have 3000+ posts, and I have been involved in countless transactions buying and selling. How dare you call me a liar when you don't know me and have no way of backing up what you are saying?

I have no reason to lie about the offers I've received on these fogs. When they do sell, I'll be happy to post the name of the buyer and the final price they went for.

Show me where I or anyone could find another set of brand new USDM EF fogs for a price better than what I am offering. Prove me wrong and I'll eat my words, until then you are a useless piece of **** cluttering my thread.

I'll take your offer under consideration. Thanks for the bump.

I've PM'd everyone that has made offers on the foglights, and asked them to get back to me if they are still interested and serious about moving forward. Like I mentioned previously, I have received a single offer as high as $400, with a few others above $300.

I will wait to hear from everyone for 24 hours from now, and finalize the transaction with the person that offers the most, otherwise if no one is willing to pay the $300 minimum I was looking for then the set will go on ebay where I have no doubt it will go as high as I need it to.

thanks, haven't received any responses from the people that previously made offers.

maybe these will end up on ebay after all.
