Default Polyurethane Painting.

I have wings west w-type body kit, and the paint is in really bad shape. Chipping, and scuffed like crazy. Anybody know a good way to get all the paint off... I've tried chemically, like an acetone for urethane, but that barely did anything, and i've tried sanding, but my hand feels like its going to fall off... i sand and sand and feel like i'm getting nowhere. Anyone got any good tips?

use a heavy grit paper to sand it down and once the paint is removed resand with a fined grit and then again with a finer grit till smooth it is a lot of work by hand but if you use air tools it does make it easier
