will a tranny out of a 96 cx fit on my 00 dx?

I thought they were geared the same, it's just the engine that's different, no?

Let me see what I can find. I know they are different in the EG's... hold on..

in EGs the cx has longer gears than the dx.. i'm assuming it's the same for the EKs but I could be wrong...someone check it out for sure..

other than that, the 96 cx tranny will fit your 00 dx

alright cool, not to worried about it just need something to drive on until i save up for a swap.


so just make sure its a hydraulic tranny and not a cable and i should be good to go with his cx right
