Hey guyz, my friend has an rsx-s and he just got new icp stage 2 cams, and aftermarket valve springs and I'm wonder if I would be able to use any of those parts on my d16a6 motor. Would I be? thanks for the help. Cuz he said if I can be able to use him, he'll be more than happy to donate em to me.

 

a d16a6 motor is a SOHC (single overhead camshaft) the k20 is DOHC (double/duel overhead camshafts).

No that won't work.

Not sure on springs.

 

I know the cams questions was pretty obvious. Any info on the springs anyone?

Hahahaha. Funny. Lol. Do you know if these parts or any of the parts are interchangeable?

 

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no, it won't work. The D springs are a much smaller diameter than the K springs, I don't think they're fit in the seat, and you'll have retainer issues.

 

I see. Hmmm can anyone show me the comparison between the springs... if possible of course. Thanks for the comments though.
