Default What to do? Brake upgrade poll

I am debating between the fastbrakes 11" standard upgrade(teg calipers, 11" 1 peice rotors for 500.00) or the fastbrakes Wilwood 4 piston 11" upgrade(Wilwood 4 piston aluminum calipers, 11" 2 peice rotors for 650.00).

I will be running a standard teg rear disc assembly.

Would you spend the extra 150.00 and just get the Wilwood kit or save the 150.00 and get the standard kit?

Id just go with 10" rotors and standard integra calipers, since they work great on my coupe...wheels can lock easily if not modulated well.

Not an option. I have a set of 94 DX knuckles that I am using, already got new wheel bearings for them and new ball joints, just waiting for them to get back from bead blasting so I can coat them in VHT.

Can you clear 15'' wheels with both setups?

the differences between the 2 easily justify the extra $150 for the wildwood kit, but unless this is a road-race car (a lot of high speed braking), I think both are overkill.

The 11" kit with teg caliper comes with a bracket that mates the teg caliper to the standard civic knuckle.

Both setups will fit 15" wheels.

It depends on what you will be doing with it. Anything but road course work and the cheaper brakes will be fine. I'll probably order the Fastbrakes Wilwood kit next week (waiting on a bonus check from work) and end up saving money because I destroy a set of rotors after 2-3 road course events and the Wilwood replacement disks are quite a bit cheaper than the Powerslot Plus disks that I am currently destroying. Changing pads at the track is also much easier with the Wilwood calipers. For street/drag/autocross use, the standard brakes with good pads work very well.
