code 9 help
i was replacing my clutch cable last night, and i got it all hooked up and when i started the car to see if it worked it threw code 9 which is cyp sensor. i was wondering if this automatically means that the distributor is bad, and how that when i replaced my clutch cable that it threw the no cylinder postion sensor code

Just maybe coincidental timing maybe?
Did you unhook the wiring for any reason to the dizzy? Or maybe when puttin in the new clutch cable you moved a loose wire in the harness for the dizzy.
I would first try to reset the ECU and see if the code appears again. As well as make sure all the wiring is pushed into the clips for the dizzy well, and no wiring is broken or grounding out on something.

i have the jdm b16a1 from the crx sir. i didnt disconnect any wires, and i did clear the code but it came back. my car isnt showing any signs of misfire or anything to make me think the distributor is bad. is it possible that it is the ecu.
should be. i am going to be converting to obd1 so i can ust the s200 hondata so i will wait as long as i can or till i start felling a reason to change the dizzy. thanks anyways for the info
