Tranny swaping question
Alright i did a quick search but didnt come up with what i was looking for....
I have a 1990 civic Dohc ZC motor.
Will 94 civic dx manual 5 speed transmission bolt on?
If so what should be done while swapping the trannys...Clutch?flywhell?pressure plate? any kind of things like that...

Yes, the transmission will "bolt" up to hte engine, however not a direct bolt up into the car. One of the bestest things is the 94 is a hydro transmission, and you are is cable.
Probably best just to try to find yourself a SI transmission replacement again from a 89-91 (88 would require a different clutch) -Unless your current set up is with an 88.

I was just wondering..one of the H-t memembers who live really close buy is selling one....if i were to pick it up what kinda of problems am i getting my self into with the cable to hyrdo and the tranny not being a direct bolt up to the car it self..
