Over three years ago i purchased a 1998 Honda Civic Ex through a private sale and talked the guy down to $7,300 (it had 70k miles). Not bad. A year and a half later some retard decided to hit me at an intersection from behind and i collected insurance money ... $8,200!!!! (very happy seeing how i invested minor performance features into it and basically got alot of my money back
, due to a tight budget) After the accident and insurance money collected i searched for a GSR in my area, until i later was forced to buy a car for the winter. I ended up buying a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse for a winter car and continued to look for a GSR. Today how ever i came across a really nice non-modded EX with 77k miles on it and a price of around $6,500. It is identical to my last Ex to which i felt was an awesome car and really enjoyable, how ever i still wanted to purchase a GSR but could never find one around the 8thousand dollar range in my area (i want one only for the stock 170hp). Well i seem to be excited though for the Ex again and i plan on adding alot of stuff into it because i plan on trading in the Eclipse for the Civic and taking my "almost 6 thousand dollars" in my bank account and making this thing jdm status
. I obviously don't have the car yet but i plan on doing this, with the scouting of deals when i get the car...
-big cam and high comp pistons w/ I/H/E flywheel
-si front bumper w/ mugen lip (or knockoff)
-paint inside of headlights black (jdm knockoff, again
)
-get some jdm lights for inside the Si bumper vents
-si tails
-jdm fold mirrors
-mugen kilometer gauge or si gauge cluster
-take out the airbag on the dash and put the ctr change-holder type thing on the dash above the glove compartment
-buddy club seats
-buddy club shift ****
-remove back seats, get crossmembers/sway bars etc.
-twinloop stocktip muffler/exhaust
-jdm fold mirrors
-Si wheels off ebay
wrapped in falken
-ground control coilovers
-jdm licenceplate
...and that's all i can think of now. i got the money for this and am currently working bringing in more money everyweek
.
I just threw this thread up b/c i am bored right now and just was wondering what you guys think of my plan.
