Did I kill my engine? My poor EK...
Hello all,
My engine is a B20 with a B16 head, running ODB1. I put the head on about a month ago. Just this week, the car would stutter when I step on the gas, up until about 3,000, then it would run super smooth! I just figured that I didn't have it tuned just right. Now the stuttering won't stop, and there was steam rising from the hood a little, and the left side of the block it's wet.
I am guessing that I need to pull the head back off and put a new head gasket on, then tighten the head down properly (I followed the Manual).
But what about the stuttering? It feels like a cylinder is not fireing, could I have damaged the head, or cylinder?
Am I close? Has anyone been through this?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

sounds like either a headgasket or maybe a piston ring? I'm not entirely sure, just go through everything and look for leaks. Good luck bro
