Default Suspension Suggestions

I'm trading in my 94 dx for a 94 ex. I'm starting all over, keeping nothing from my current car. What would some of you more experienced guys suggest for autox/dd?

Definently get the Koni/GC combo. It's the absolout best thing for non "track only" cars. Lifetime warranty on everything, and the best customer service possible...

If the car your getting is a 2 door, it comes with a 21mm front sway bar, and no rear bar at all. Unless the car has ABS, it will come with rear drums, so you may or may not want to do a rear disc swap (A lot of guys use drums in AX/RR though). If you want to add a rear sway-bar, you will need all the sway-bar parts (including rear LCAs) from the following: 94+ Integra (14, 22 or 23mm), 92-95 Civic w/ rear sway (13mm) or a Del Sol w/ rear sway (13 or 15mm). A 22mm or larger rear bar requires subframe reinforcment on civics & regular integras though. The front bar can be swaped with whatever size custom bar you want. Options for front sway-bars are as follows: anything aftermarket, 94+ Integra (22, 24 & 25mm), or 94 Del Sol VTEC (24mm)...

If the car is a 4 door, it will have ABS, 4 wheel discs, a 21mm front sway bar, and a 13mm rear sway bar. Upgrading front or rear bars will be as easy as picking the size you want. If you want a 21mm or larger rear bar, your still going to need subframe reinforcment (A-Spec Racing, or Comptech is best).

FYI: Sway-Bars are tuning devices, and nobody can tell you what will work best for you. It's the kind of thing that can fine tune the behavior of your vehicle to your tastes once you've become constent enough to tell the difference.

If your not sure what rates you want, just give GC a call & tell them what you want from the car. They know their **** & they will get you the rates you will be happy with.

PS: Don't kid yourself though. If your going to be driving this car on the streets a lot, make sure you tell them that...
