Default GE LS/VTEC Conv Kit or Cometic Gasket

pretty new to all this, helping a buddy make a decision. just wanted to see which choice more would take for the question of choosing between the two. would it be better to get the ge kit complete or go ala carte with the cometic head gasket? i ask because some people i spoke with take issue with the cometic quality wise, and others have praise...go figure. thanks for the help guys-

I personally would use the GE kit. I've not had good experiences with Cometic products.

I used GE kit after seeing it work well and hearing so many good reviews on it.
