Default Fender lining

I changed my hood latch cable (which was a bitch to do) and I had to remove the fender lining on one side of my car. It's all messed up already. Should I buy another one from Honda and reinstall it? If I did do that, does anyone have a ball park estimate as to how much it would cost?

At MajesticHonda.com there are a few different items I could get, mud guards FR/RR and then there is splash guards FR/RR. Does anyone know which one is specifically the fender lining?

No but I bet you could call the dealership and they could tell you in about a minute.

Is it recommended to have that on my car though? I don't mind calling but if I don't have to have it then I don't want to spend the money on it.

It helps to keep mud, water, dirt, snow, etc out of the engine bay.

I would recomend having it.

slhondaparts.com has them for like $32 a piece IIRC.

I am planning on getting some, but I live in CA and don't drive in the rain, so I'm not in that much of a hurry. But, for $32, might as well have the peace of mind.

You probably need 5 & 9 from this diagram:

No, the picture is from their shopping catalog that the dealer and online stores use to identify and price parts.
