Ok I was driving in the middle of the night in the dark downhill and all of a sudden there was a construction lid in the middle of the road. I had no time to slow down, and I go over it at full speed and man that thing was steep My question is can my suspension be damaged in any way? Can it make it harder for my car to be pushed while in nutreul (sp?) meaning can the suspension parts be bent.

edit: by a construciton lid I mean those metal plates things that constuction workers put in the middle of a road if they are working on it and it is not finished (because of a hole or something)

Anything CAN damage your car. The question is, did it? Only you can know the answer the that question.

 

It can't hurt your car any more than a speedbump. Take that as you will. Pay more attention next time and you won't have to make a post that makes you sound like a little girl.
