can the fuel pump be replaced from the top on a crx? c-speed racing shows a how to from the top, but my manual says to pull the fuel tank off. i've put this off for to long now.

 

not on our CRX/civics. in EG's and late you can. but the fuel pump on our cars is not accessible without dropping the tank.

its not that hard.

 

it simple to drop the tank, its only held on by two bolts.

 

You dont even have to take the fuel tank all the way off, just jack the back up and loosen the straps and hang the tank down, unhook all the fuel lines and wires, unbolt the fuel pump and pull it up over and out!
