Default Building an auto cross motor

i want to build and Auto X motor that i can still daily drive for the time being. im looking into a B20/vtec or H22 .. what are some of the setups you gusy are running?

how about building your suspension?

and who do you plan on autoxing with? what class?

don't worry about building the engine for now. use the one you've got.

swapping in an engine (that didn't come in the car in the first place) puts you in very fast classes. not really important when you're first starting out, but it may pigeonhole you into an a/x class you may not want to be in.

You need a turbo supercharged nitrous fed H22 long block to win in autox.

Nevermind the fact that I've won before with a bone stock 250,000 mile 108hp torqueless turd under the hood
