93 teg, fully rebuilt motor. At 2800 RPM's I hear this weird noise, and I can also feel it on the gas pedle slightly. Only way I can explain it it rolling a metal pin on a table for like 1/2 a second... Any idea's?

And also. The new Carsound cat that I have has been smelling like rotten eggs bad. I thought I was running rich/lean and the cat was heating up to quick and that's why but It's not, it's running fine. But I looked under my car and noticed the bottom of the cat is like Black, like charred real bad. Is this thing shot after less than a month of being on the car? Is this a common problem? If I get a new one think it'll be fine?

cant help you with the sound problem but, if the cat was newly installed and is charred already its not the cat... but you should replace the cat.

 

But if it's not the cat that was bad, then why waste 100 bucks again, wouldn't it just charr again?
