What do you plan on using in the rest of your set-up, like cams, header, etc. Give us some more details.

Better check out the trouble I'm having with my set-up. I am using Blox B's in my 1.8L and I'm having a few probs. Blox B cams might be too big for 1.8L set-ups.

no...

your header is hurting your vtec crossover, its not the cams....

was that header made for your motor?

have you thought about using flat face valves to give you a little more compression like supertech or omni valves? nice build so far though keep us updated bro

Just standard high temp engine enamel. Had to repaint it cause the block had to get hot tanked twice.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by RomoGuy &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I was thinking maby Blox stage 2 cams, Aebs Intake manifold, 65mm TB, cam gears, stock valves 3 angle valve job, not sure about header, but im not rich so cant be like a 700 dollar header</TD></TR></TABLE>
I'm running the AEBS manifold and a JG 65mm TB. The 65mm TB matches up perfect to the manifold. I was there when they did the dyno test on the first castings of the manifold......on a jdm itr motor they gained 15 whp straight bolt on, no tuning or anything else, just a straight change over

Actually I was thinking about usings flat faced valves, and possibly milling? but that kinda scares me, what u guy think about milling? any experiences? is 11.3 no where near enough for the blox type b's?

Lol im also kinda freaked out about it all working, but ive torqued everthing down to specs according to my Haynes.

nothings wrong with milling, alot of people dont like it because you obviously cant reverse it...but .010inch is not bad and it'll give a better quench for combustion...

I've seen one of ERICKS racing's head, it was milled past or real close to the indicator.....Of course thats not recomended by honda but thats what they order...

Also go with an oem one layer head gasket or something equal like Mugen/spoon etc...

Yeah I have seen alot of good builds with the head being milled, but like onepoint6i said once its done its done no turning back.

yup you can take the middle layer(i think) out to make a 2pc. gasket and bump the comp up a little.

just run 1 layer from the three layers, some say middle some say top some say bottom..i've used all 3..they all worked perfect..

just make sure you use an even coat of copper spray on both sides of the single gasket
