not unless you get the neuspeed konis. Then you can raise the front slightly.

If you cherish your motor you'd put a little more money in that budget and get a better suspension setup. no complaints about a koni yellow/gc setup. around $700 and you get full adjustablility; damper and height. that's only $200 more than your budget, but thats mad insurance for your motor. well worth it, so don't go cheap!

The 'normal' sports are adjustable as well, just less settings than the neuspeed ones.

yes, but he wants to raise the front and there is no higher setting on the front shocks of the off the shelf koni yellows. Just a lower one.

perhaps Ill reconsider my budget. Like I said, its sporting a 280 whp h22, so i want a good suspension, and if it were just me Id spend 1500 on it, but i have to keep a budget or my wifey will kill me......Ive noticed omni coilovers going for 650, how do those compare to a gc/koni setup?

They don't...
Like everybody said, your best best bet would be to buy some Koni sport shocks first. Use your stock sproings on the lower perch setting & it will lower your car about 1.3". Koni designed the lowered settings for your stock springs, so you know you won't run into problems.
Then when you have saved another $330, you can get the ground control sleeves & springs made to fit koni's perfectly. You can even order custom spring rates designed for an H22 swap at no additional charge. If your planing on going pretty low (2" or more), you will also want to pick up some ground control upper shock mounts for the front end ($115 a pair), or research the "shock fork" mod (free) to add some extra compression stroke to your suspension. This keeps you from riding on the bump stops...
None of those other companies can match the lifetime warranty of Koni & GC, and their customer service cannot compare...
