I am learning all this stuff and I am tired of messing things up!!! Please help!!!

Okay, the bushing or donut on my shift linkage is torn apart. I need some help in putting it back on. I've posted pics of what it looks like and what the dealer says it looks like. I have a jdm sirII and the dealer has pics of the 99 si. Anyways on the dealer sheet it looks like there is some sort of bracket it hooks to. Well on my car it doesn't. If I unbolt the bolt in the donut, will tranny fluid spill out??? Please help!!! I know taking it out will be easy, but will I lose fluid. Here are the pics.

Oh, in the dealer diagram, I bought part #30.

take that ho off and toss a new bushing on it

 

Damn!!! I wish it would cause I have a leak!!! That means my axel seal on the tranny is broken too!!! Damn!!! Oh well. Thanks... I'll have to take it off tomorrow. It is getting too dark now.
