Default Exhaust Fumes Leaks Inside the car HELP!

I've been trying to troubleshoot this problem for a while now. Whenever i am driving or trying to stop, or even sometimes at idle i would get a big smell of exhaust and burnt motor oil smell leaking through the vents. I know people said check for exhaust leaks, but i changed all the gaskets and i even put a new 2.5 donut collector on the headers so my test pipe won't leak. I don't know anything else. Can someone help?

Check if the rubber shiftlinkage seal is installed properly underneath the center console.

If you have an exhaust leak from your header/downpipe, often it will go straight to your intake for the ventilation system. Im currently running open downpipe (annoying as hell) and whenever i stop, if i have the fan on it will basically suck in some of that exhaust. So i either need to keep it on recirculating, or turn it off when i stop. I hope this helps.

I tried that. Its still the same deal, the smell flows through the vent regardless if its on, off, or recirculating. What is the issue that people talk about the EVAP canister? do you guys have a picture of it and what it connects to?
