Any S2k owners in dallas want to race? Me and vtecvoodoo got an argument ALONG time ago before I had put my turbo on and he seemed to think a stock S2k would pull my turbo LS from 40-120.. SOooo im calling out all S2k owners! anyone wanna meet up and get a few runs in?

 

If you're putting down 230whp... I'm POSITIVE that you'd stomp on a stock S2k from 40-120.

 

I would probably race you. Depending on if we can find a safe spot. Do you have a radar?

 

I do have a radar, passport 8500, its pretty good.. I agree, safe spot is a must.. The safest place I have found is all the north on the dallas tollway or george bush at around 12AM at night.. have u seen any of our videos? check out http://www.turbomafia.com/Arturbo/direp972 and u can kinda see how we race.. let me know if u r up to it.. keep in mind ill probably post the vid on honda-tech too..

Well If you've been to the track, than I should be able to probably predict the outcome. What times have you run before?

 

14.0 @ 102 withen range of an S2k with a compentant driver..

 

you sound just a little bit faster than an S2k

most S2Ks trap 98-100mph

I'm going to San Antonio this weekend. Maybe next weekend.

 

That is why he wants to race from 40-120...must be having a lot of traction issues. 102 trap speed should put your car in the low 13's, with some decent 60' times

 

Yep your a 100% right I think it would be a lot better race from 0-100.....with a good driver an s2k should have no problem hitting 13.8 stock

 

well we dont have to race.. I ran a 13.6 @ 103 tonight so I know ill beat the S2k.. I just wanted to get it on film to prove to a few people that its true, a turbo LS, is definitly faster then an S2k..

 

Thats not necessarily true. Theres been a few people whose gotten 13.6 on their stock s2000. Just depends on the current conditions at the track.
