Does anyone know where this any good information online about spot-welding?

What do you need to know? It's just welding in one spot, then stopping.

Maybe I said it wrong. I wanted to know more information on how spot welders work, the ones with the jaws or two electrodes.

Those are mostly for sheet metal fabrication. Won't work on most automotive body work. It just has a + and - electrode and welds whatever is in between them together.
