Injector question??
Hey, I just bought some 550cc injectors, can I install them without electronical controls (like aem ems or safc2) and will they still flow correctly at the stock air/fuel ratio or will they automatical shoot too much fuel?
Please only respond if you know what your talking about.

If you bought 550cc injectors and are going to install them yourself, I can't see you asking this question. The only reason you would be installing them is if you're planning on running around 450 horse...which takes a decent amount of work.
If you haven't done all that work, stick with stock...honda does a pretty good job with stock compared to other car companies.
If you have done all that work....
Are you obd0, obd1, obd2? Are the injectors saturated or peak-and-hold?
There is too much information we'd have to type that would make no difference to you except for your current application.

fuel injectors are not "smart" things....
the reason they are 550cc is because they inject fuel at a rate of 550cc per minute....so when they open up, theyre injecting at this rate...
which is much higher than the rate that the 345 or 290cc injectors you have now flow at....so yes you will get close to double the fuel, yes you need an ems before you put them on.

either get an ems, or turn your fule presure down to like 20 psi, you can use http://www.rceng.com and do calculations to find the fuel press ness to make 550s flow like 345s or 290cc,
but in short don't just install them
