Default Is this civic worth it?

There is a 1990 civic SI that doesnt run (timing belt). I guess it is 'stripped' the seats are taken out.. its got the stock d16a6 with the SI tranny.. they are asking $150.. is this a good deal? I know that the SI tranny sells for about that much.. I would plan to put on my spare y8 head with P29 or PM7 Pistons, but there is the chance the rods and crank are screwed up, would it still be worth it, could I get more then $150 just parting it out? thanks

Dude that's a good find. Parting out a car you can make 300-400$. I already made 350$ of my 1988 parts civic. I sold, engine (50$, has 35XXXXkms) , mounts, tranny (120$, has 15XXXXkms on it), battery, and side skirts (it was bodykitted). I paid 30$ for it.

SI's are beautiful. Put a running engine in it and sell it again. If only the seats are missing then just find some seats. If everything else is missing you can make lots of money on the parts.
