Default help with conversion please

yes i was wondering if i swap my dx to 4 injectors do i really need a new distributor?

I don't think so. All you are doing is swapping intake manifolds and running wires. Who told you that?

Yes, that is the MPFI conversion. You can make the dx dizzy work, but not properly. I would guess someone on the board would be willling to sell you a cheap Si dizzy, and that is what I would look for.

If you are trying to switch the intake it won't run the greatest with that Dx dizzy. Just buy a Si dizzy for cheap. They are pretty common. I had to get one for my SOHC ZC when I did my MPFI and 5spd conversion to my civic. You will need to run a few wires to the computer for the MPFI, and if you have a spare harness, you might need the plugs for the dizzy.
