Well i'm pretty ******* pissed right now, but anyways heres the story. so i'm getting ready for work this morning when take a quick look outside to see if i should put on my new wiper blades. when i notice my ******* ZC style CF hood is missing, i was like you gotta be ******* kidding me. so i start looking around the car and notice my driver side door is unlocked and my ******* VAFC is missing and they even stole my planner that was in the glove box. WTF?

So if people can be on the look out for:

- 1st Gen VAFC(with a cut wire making it that you have to wire it directly instead of a harness)
- ZC Carbon Fiber Hood for 88-91 Civic/CRX(it had a 1320SP sticker on it and was fairly oxidized. if you were to put water(or any moisture) on the hood you would still be able to see the outline of the sticker)


So anyways there was no broken windows(luckily), so i'm assuming they used a slim jim cause my driverside door was unlocked. i didn't have an alarm either so there was no noise. yeah i know i should of had one, but that besides the point now. it had to of happened between 3AM-8AM cause my brother had my car until 1:45am and didn't fall asleep until about 3AM. i looked outside this morning at about 8:10am.

- Also i know of a couple other friends(a CRX and EF Civic) that had there got there cars jacked a couple months ago. SO BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR YOUR OWN RIDE IN SAN JOSE/BAY AREA

yeah, i had a quick release, so they would of had to have another steering wheel

well they knew what they were taking, but the car didn't have a steering wheel in it too

I hate fucken theives. It makes me sick. I just got jacked earlier this weekend too. Mother ******* took my deck, speakers, and my turbo timer. &gt;:[

 

I'm in the area so I'll keep an eye out. Sucks about the hood though, but yeah. At least they didn't take your car and strip it to nothing like they did the guy from 4thgenhatch .

 

My EF hatch got stolen and stripped in South San Jose a few months ago. I found my stuff for sale on craigslist. The guy even left his phone number, I went ahead and forwarded the information to the cops, but my stuff was already sold for dirt cheap. I was pissed, but keep your eyes open on craigslist, and I will do the same. Make sure you file a police report and get the detectives direct number, it is the best way to handle your case. I hate thieves! To everyone out there: please don't buy stolen property, because you are only contributing to your stuff getting stolen in the long run.

I have a white hood thats in ok condition left over from when my car got stolen last year...if you need one let me know. Sorry to hear, i know how it feels only my whole car was stripped down.

Yeah i already filed one online, so i'll see if i can get a hold of the detectives #.

Thanks, but i still had my stock one luckily. cars running so that's good, just had to do a quick rewire

I'm lucky they only did a ****** and grab by the looks of it. i couldn't even imagine how i would of been if they stole my whole car. well there wasn't really much you could take of off of it, but still glad they didn't take the whole thing

 

That sucks man.

Ii was a victim of theft in san jose too, but this was 2 years ago. Tthey took my CF hood and sparco steering wheel(still never found it) and put some fluid in my engine(oil was milky).

Well some advice, they might come and try again so get park it somewhere safe like a garage or storage place or sumthin Good luck
