Did you roll your fenders to prevent rubbing? need to upgrade to a wider street tire. lack of traction is killing me.

i ran a 205-40-16 and it was fine just watch the offset of the rim that will cause it to rub

I had the older version of the azenis in 215/45/16 with a -42 offset rim and had no issues.

But I was running high spring rates and was not dumped either.

Those new hankooks come in 215/45/16

I've actually been waiting for a thread like this. I'm running 215/50/16s on my Civic, with a H22 swap. Meaning I can't lower the car much, because of the oil pan clearance, but enough to scrape when I hit a bump while cornering. Best thing to do. Have an alignment shop set your camber to -1 degree. Better handling, less rubbing.

The car's really dirty, but I like big tires, for the way they stick out a little from the fenders.

Yeah, they're big, but they stick to the road really nice, and are great in the winter.

there is a tool or u can use a baseball bat.

It basically squeezes the inner part of the fender (the thing the lining attaches to) flush up against the inside of the fender.

So the profile goes from this:
