compression and leak down test help

compression and leak down test help

I am thinking about turbo-ing my car but i wanna do a compression and leak down test on my D16Z6 to see how healthy the engine is first. im not quite sure exactly how though. I've read about it and I kinda have an idea but im not sure what TDC #1 is and a few other things. If someone who has done this before to the same engine could give me some advice or detailed instructions...it would be much appreciated

TDC is when the piston is at the top of the stroke of a certain cylinder. Detailed instructions for comp / leakdown can be found at http://www.c-speedracing.com in the 'how to' section.
