What is the difference between an 88-89 Si and the 90-91 Si?
I know that one difference is the fact that the 90-91 CRX Si comes with rear disc brakes.
are there any other differences?
thanks in advance,
aj

ok i am kinda confused by all this. i have an 89 crx si and my seatbelts are in the doors. and i have the scoops on my front bumper for brake cooling (actually for JDM fog lamps). im pretty sure i have drums in the rear. i havent removed my rears yet since my car was crashed and it has been sittiing in the garage. im gonna have to check this out tomorrow. and i know that they parts arent changed from another car because this was a one owner clean title car that was owned by some old retired guy living in some LA suburb. if anyone can explain please go for it.
The 88's were the only year they didn't use the door mount seat belts. The HF is the exception they kept the pillar mounted seat belts for 89. Hope this helps.
i also hear 88 is the lightest year because the pilar mounted belts...this would make the doors lighter then 89-90-91 because they are mounted on the door i think adding weight to them...i think....
