Default Reversing the direction on the Harbor freight band saw?...

I got some new bimetal blades, but the teeth are pointed the opposite direction. I'm just wondering if there is a way to do this without reversing the wiring to the motor.

Thanks,
Bryson

You dont want to reverse the direction, you always want the cutting pressure on the solid jaw of the vise.

hold the blade so the teeth are facing you. now take your thumbs and push the tips towards the inside and thru the center until it flips the other way..im confusing myself now hahaha

Yup, it's flipped. Think of it as a rubber band for visualizing how to flip it...

Not to be an *** (this time ) but i would've been pretty funny if you reversed the polarity of the motor and tried to cut something with it vertical. lol

Indeed. I'm just glad I didn't try and do that, and THEN learn that the damn blade is just flipped... haha.

my exact thought process
or ruin a $1000 saw for a $75 blade(max)
this one actually made me laugh as soon as i saw the post title.
with hindsight being 20/20, you should put this in your signature.
