Flexplate On my ZC

Default Flexplate On my ZC

so i bought a new motor from hmotorsonline and it came with a torque convertor and a flexplate, obviously it came out of an automatic, is their anything i should know about this.. IE. does it have a weaker cam or whats up

Actually, i think the automatics are the preffered motors since they tend to be abused less. I think theyre the same thing except for some extra vacuum ports on the intake manifold.

well the last motor i got from them had a flywheel, so i guess this will be the test

automatic zc's are as strong if not stronger than the 5spds, same motor

excellent i beleive you guys but a little more input on the differences would be great. i pulled open the valve cover and it looked pretty clean

I've never heard of any difference in my 3 years here. You're fine, enjoy your non-abused motor
