i searched but really couldnt find anything. I'm under the impression that I need an alternator..but it might be easier to source another one other than a DA..so would any others be fine? or would i have to change anything around?

i'm looking for the quickest way to have my car running in case you didnt notice.

 

i believe any b-series obd1 will work as long as they have the same ribbed pulleys (if not just switch yours onto the new one).

dont take my word for it. all i've ever used is DA alternators. i have had a b16 alternator in my car from an XSI, but it crapped out and i put my LS alternator on the b16. they looked like the same alternator though. one was obd0 and the other was obd1, didn't make a differenece.
