Pep boys should be fine. Mounting/balancing a tire is not brain surgery.

Congrats on your new tires ;-)

Don't go to Pepboys, they do shitty work, even on simple stuff like mounting and balancing tires. The service there is terrible, and the employee's could give two ***** about your car.

Go somewhere else, even if you have to spend a little more, you'll be happy you didn't go to ShitBoy's.

Later,
Jon

NOOO dont go to pep boys they jacked up my friends rims because they didnt know they were supposed to put the rim upside down on the rim press.. and ended up RUINING the finish on his REAL Volk TE37s... his rim was white.. and their dumbass put it face side up and used the metal pry bar against the surface of the wheel to try and get the old tires off of it..

Pep Boys

i've taken my car which has rims to Costco wholesale.. since you live in Pasadena you should know where the one in Alhambra on Commonwealth is... Costco mounted my Dunlop SP9000's for like $7 each wheel or something rediculously low like that.... that comes w/ mounting, balancing, disposal, etc....

if you dont have a Costco wholesale membership I guess you could take it to a wheel/tire shop and they can do it from anywhere from $12-20/wheel...

dealers should have a mount and ballancer, you just have to pay dealer prices.

they shouldn't have a problem doing it.

they just don't sell the tires.

Try A&J tire shop. I forgot the name but it's a small tire store off of Colorado that does good work, or American Tire co. Both should work but I think the first place might be cheaper.

Go to Costco/Price Club

They charge $9 a tire to mount and balance. Can't beat that. I did mine there, and I did a friend's there today. (Chenium on HT)

Just make sure you lie to them if the rating doesn't match your car, otherwise they won't do it. Some safety issue probably.

I told them I had a GSR (hence V-rated Kumho's) rather than having an LS with H-rated tires. The Kumho's I had were V.
