survey says....

WRONG. go H22, or go home.

Bseries swaps into EARLIER accords have been done, and are easier, but the 92 NEEDS the H22. you could forgo the VTEC setup, and use a JDM F22B DOHC non-VTEC motor, or an H23. pick your poison.

Yea dude. Go with H22, H23, or F22. You can make the gsr work, but for less money you can drop a prelude motor in and buy bolt-ons and be a bit faster. A gsr swap costs, if memory serves me correctly, alot more than an h22.

It also doesn't just drop in like the H-series. And no kit is available for this swap, either. The bottom line: the H22A is cheaper, easier, and just plain better. How often can all of these things be said about one swap compared to another?

I know you would have to have custom mounting system. And to answer the question about how often can all of that be said... not often at all. I'm glad to see that you are considering a early 90's accord. They get overlooked alot around here. I personally think that they make the ultimate sleeper. Honda did well when designing it IMO. What is the curb weight on those without any weight reduction and what is the lightest you have seen?

Pointless... You already have a great block to start with unless it's got 200k miles on it... People with Accords need to stop getting rid of their F blocks... Unless they are gonna give them to me...
