Since no one wants to answer, I'll see what I can do. I think one company makes a kit for a 3rd Gen 'Lude, I'll check that out.

In my opinion, you should do an H22A1 swap. You only have 140 (?) Hp out of your B21A1 (?), and you'd have 200 if you swapped. You could in effect crank out 200 Hp at the flywheel with a Turbo, but you'd only be at the same place as a stock H22A.

Just me though....

Many people doing the H22A swap in their prelude spend way too much. Rarely works properly. LudeSPEED makes a great turbo kit for a reasonable price. With that kit you'll smoke a H22A easy, fact. You of course need to upgrade traction too, even w/ this done you'll be under the price of a H22A hybrid. The B21A1 engine and or B20A5 are considered one great honda engine to turbo. Plus the H22A weight more.

This video is a 0-70 mph run at 5psi with the stock cat and exhaust, non-intercooled, timing fully retarded. Shifting at 5500rpms. I didn't punch it until about 15mph. You can hear the BOV clearly.

I've heard TOO many horror stories about that turbo kit. I was gonna do that turbo setup but i had the money to do a H22 swap. But the H22 swap is VERY expensive if you want to do it the way i am doin it. I have been putting this on hold everytime i get close to getting my car back on the road...Ever hear when hybrid people say the little things always messes everything up.......ITS TRUE. And when you need help from PLACE RACING they dont know shiot....THEY DID THE SWAP 6 YEARS AGO!! and have basically no info on the swap. I thought i did all the research i could possibly do...i guess not. But I think a 210-230 whp 3rd gen (off the bottle) is well worth the wait. But its all up to you man.....People tell me everyday..man its a 88 prelude..put the motor into a civic.....I say....i love my car because its different...its not somethin that everybody has..(civic guys please dont hate me )

Everyone has Civics and Integras. They are nice cars, but they are just too common and not noticable. Preludes are higher class cars, the interior build quality is better (even on 3rd generation) and they have a lot more torque. A modified Prelude is a rare thing of beauty. Modified Civic/Integra's are booring and trendy.
