CRX Passenger Mount Question...Please Help!..
Can anyone tell me why this passenger side mount is moved to the left in this 89 CRX SI? I just picked up this 89 SI shell and noticed the mount has been moved when I compared it to my stock 89 CRX DX. Does anyone know why?
This was a common practice before b series mount kits. People would cut and reweld their stock mount locations to accomodate a b series swap. Oh by the way you may want to resize your picture...it is huge...
So this means I can just use stock b series mounts for a B series swap since the mount was moved? A hasport kit would basically be useless? Sorry about the picture size, I just wanted to make sure people could see how much it was moved.

Correct people would just use stock b series mounts with relocated mount locations.

Looks like he ran out of gas halfway through it and just kept going
I would get that re-welded first.

Looks like not alot of the frame is even penetrated. Horible welds, and i concur with the above statment.
