Default 1st gen B16 problems !

my car practically broke down to a sputter on my way to work this morning w/ massive white smoke comming out the tail pipe...when i popped the hood to inspect the problem i noticed that this vaccume hose was dangling in between the intake manifold runners so i know that this is the problem...this has happend to my younger brothers car and we found where to connect the hose and problem solved...but he runs a diffrent manifold than me so it leaves me no choice but to ask for help here all i gotta know is where to re-connect it i looked everywhere but the high engine temps kept me from further inspection...thanks

sounds like a blown head gasket rather then a vacume line

sorry guy, that vaccum line can be connected to anything that has a vaccuum pull on it, the only thing it will make your car do is idle at normal on cold start, not the problem your having, sounds like you blew a headgasket or you have some kinda water leak into the cylinders

this has happened before...we replaced the head gasket according to this problem and it did the same thing...when we did every thing in our power to fix the prob and still failed...i took it into a shop where they told me it was a bad map censor later shortening the problem to a disconnected vaccume line...(yes we replaced the headgasket due to a disconnected vaccume line)....so i know its that...i just gotta know where it goes to!...but thanks for the input...
anyone else down to help ....

highly doubt that is the problem but good luck (where to leak for a leak throttle body gasket, intake manifold gasket, and headgasket (or perhaps a coolant hose mistaken for a vacuum line).

Plug it sees if it takes care of it.

1st Gen??? wow got pics?
