Ok, ill try that. Man as soon as it started getting cold my teg zaps the **** out of me everytime i touch the door getting out. I usually close it with my foot, but sometimes i forget.
I think it might have something to do with the cloth seats.

no zaps here... the top of the door frame is all plastic or rubber, how could you possibly get shocked? I don't touch any metal at all when I get out of my car and close the door.

i know grounding kits weren't meant for that specific reason but I was just thinking that since a lot of people somehow build up static electricity in the tegs maybe by having more grounding points in the chassis to the negative terminal of the battery it'll dissipate the build up to begin with. I dunno, just a thought

car was idling kinda funny and car started to breath on me, so i got out, popped up the hood, car was still running, had one hand holding up the hood and decided to put the other hand on the plug wires, and ZAPPEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd. for about 5 seconds, i was shocked... That was no joke man.....
Learned my lesson. Never........ I mean never....... Grab hold of the plug wire while ur ride is running.
