Track Day @ GingerMan Raceway
Hello everybody,
SpeedTrial USA has an instructional road racing day Saturday, April, 13 at GignerMan Raceway in South Haven, MI. Our events are aimed at all levels of drivers and cars, so there should be something for everybody.
This event is $130 for the day which includes any intstruction and also your tech inspection. We will be running four groups at 20 minute intervals, so you will have more track time than you will know what to do with!
To register, or for more information, please check out our site; www.speedtrialusa.com or email me.
I hope to see some of you there.
Race-on,
Brian.

Just a little suggestion. I think you should remove the "road racing" part from your sig. Speedtrial is NOT road racing. It is a driver's school. There is a big difference. Please don't go all west coast on us.

Solorexer, registration on the day of the event is $150 plus you take a chance at this session being full. Sign up now and if for some reason you can't make it, you'll get a refund.
Warren, we designate "Road Racing Events" to help people identify that this is not a school for learning how to auto-x or drag race. It is an instructional day to start teaching people how to race on road courses.
Yikes, SpeedTrial USA was started on the West Coast!!!
Hope you guys can make it and let me know if you need anything,
Brian.

Still a bad idea for insurance reasons. When (not if) someone wrecks at an event, their insurance company will start poking around. If it says racing, well, they're probably screwed. I'm sure the event insurer would also be miffed if they knew it was getting advertised as a road race event. It's a good way to cause a lot of headache later.
Jon Felton runs Speedtrial very well out on the East coast. Trust me, you want to base it off of what he's doing, not off the West coast Speedtrial organizers. I've seen video from the West coast events, and it's a bunch of boneheads running loose on the track, pretending like they know what they are doing.
As for the infamous West Coast video, I have not seen that. Was it a video of a drifting session? It could have been a video of one of the time trials they had, or maybe it was a video of a beginner in over his/her head. Either way, that video should not be taken as a representation of SpeedTrial USA, or as a representation of how they run things on the West Coast.
Check out this months issue of Road & Track magazine. Their writer wrote about SpeedTrial USA's Laguna Seca event which they tested a 911 GT2 at.
Thanks again for all of the interest in out events, and please let me know if you have anymore questions.
Brian.
