Not hondaor import related but we just spent over $2k on one block. That was boring it, took multiple small cuts since the cylinders are now 4.623". Also included honing, surfacing deck, and boring out and installing roller cam bearings. May give you somewhat of an idea I guess...

I had a block just recently overbored for under 100 if i remember right. This of course was a completely bare block brought to them.

Gave my shop a set of Pauter Rods, Diamond Pistons, Rings, ALL block studs/bolts, a 3.0L Duratec V6 shortblock & instructions to:

1) Disassemble block & hottank
2) Bore cylinders .030" (for piston fitment)
3) Replace main (crank) bearings with Clevite77's (shop purchased & added to bill)
4) Replace rod bearings with Clevite77's (shop purchased & added to bill)
5) Reassemble block with said rods, pistons, rings, bolts/studs & bearings
6) Balance the crank with said rotating assembly

All work was done for $988.00

The bill was itimized, so I will post the exact price for the boring when I get home.

80$ and it's done perfectly... I'd pay them more to do it because they do such a precise job but this is all they charge me
